Project Management Consultancy (PMC)
IPRCL provides PMC service for the overall implementation of the projects and stages as described/required by the client. The contractors undertaking the scope of work could be one or more. We provide services for all the components of the project. Reporting, communication and correspondence channels are to be established at the commencement of the project. The extent and scope of formal meetings between the Project Manager, Contractors, team members and Client are to be agreed.
- The services should include, but not be limited to:
• Examine and issuance detailed drawings to the Contractor;
• Ensure that contractor(s) have a proper and approved Project Execution Plan in place prior to the start of Works;
• Organise and chair regular site progress meetings and site management meetings and prepare meeting reports;
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports;
• Coordinate and assure that contractor sets up a proper site Health & Safety system; monitor the safety standards are being met and organise monthly safety meetings;
• Issue instructions to Contractors and supervise the execution of the project;
• Liaise between Contractors, Employer and authorities where applicable;
• Check interim measurements of the works and issue interim payment certificates in a timely manner;
• Monitor all costs associated with the project, provide cash flow forecasts for the project;
• Ensure that Contractor has a Project Quality Plan (QA/QC) to meet QA standards for Railway Regulation/APMT standards whichever is higher, in place prior to start of Works; monitor the quality and progress of the works;
• Supervise tests on site, and if necessary initiate independent cross checks;
• Issue completion certificates and other certificates and information including the final acceptance certificates as required;
• Assist in settling disputes or differences that may arise between the Client and Contractor(s);
• Plan and coordinate which also include surveys, material checks, trials and testing, site inspection of authorities as necessitated.
• On completion of the Works revise the drawings in accordance with alterations agreed during the execution of the Works and preparing such “As Built” drawings.
• Claims: Reviewing and recommending approval to Client of all contractor’s applications for payment, variations, claims and requests for EOT. Evaluate contractors' claims, attend claim meetings, assist in the negotiation of claims (cost and time) and prepare a recommended course of action for the Client to consider allowing resolution of all claims and prepare all documentation manage and finalised the claims in accordance with the Client's instructions.
• EDMS: Establish Electronic Data Management System (EDMS) and carry out administrative procedures using the platform for submitting, controlling, monitoring, tracking and maintaining engineering documents, contract specifications, contract changes, vendor documents, drawings, instruction manuals, reports, schedules, as-built drawings etc. for the Project.
